- Department of Water and Sanitation Hydrological Services Division
- NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information, look at Climate Data Online (CDO)
- Download the DEM files in .tif format (Geotiff)
- Open the files in the main window of QGIS
To merge the files:
- Click Raster > Miscellaneous > Merge
- Select all the open DEM files for the input file
- Save the merged DEM to a new file for the output file (do not save to a temporary file)
For Contour Lines:
- Click Raster > Extraction > Contour
- Change interval between contour lines to 100.00 (you can adjust this as you wish - the smaller the interval the longer it will take to run the extraction)
- Save to a new file for output file
- SANLC
- Data from Max with Google Earth Engine
Based on the land cover, we need to determine the curve number appropriate to the area.
