• fixes a performance issue when adding images
• more version command tidying.

• when you add images in bulk it was requiring crazy high CPU.

What is the new behavior (if this is a feature change)?

• made a small adjustment that helped improve performance with bulk images.

Does this PR introduce a breaking change?
Not that I'm aware of or found during testing.
