This Privacy Policy describes our policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of information about you in connection with your use of the HackTX Android application (the "Application"). When you use the Application, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

Anonymous Usage Data

To improve the Application, additional usage information may be collected by third party tools such as Firebase Analytics and Fabric. Such information is gathered anonymously and may tagged with a unique identifier that is generated upon a fresh install. This unique identifier is never connected to a particular HackTX attendee or account.

Such information is gathered and stored in accordance with each service's respective Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Device Info

The Application may check for other installed applications to enhance the user experience. This data is kept local to the device except in cases covered by anonymous usage data collection.

The security of all information gathered is extremely important, thus steps have been taken to ensure that all transmitted and stored information is secured using best practices.
