This makes it possible to build on modern machines. A lot of documentation is still out of date, though it was mostly broken before so it's not much worse.

Most everything but the firefox extension now builds using bazel. This should make it significantly easier to work with the project. It also upgrades us to the latest closure compiler/library/etc, which required some tweaks. Latest version built with this is released and seems to work!
