This is a semver MAJOR version, which removes the deprecated
auto,elapsed, andmicroversions of the date, which pose problems due to assistive technologies misreading the contractions (1mis read as1 meter).Our guidelines for dates and times outlines some of the problems with this, and discourages the format.
