Xrpa's Mission

Xrpa's mission is to empower developers to use the right tool for the job, at each level of development. For the high level software logic, a high level language is the right tool. For communicating with custom hardware, a low level language is needed. For interactive 3D environments, a game engine is what you want. You might want to use Python for research study design and analysis, or a custom DSL for signal processing. Xrpa is the glue that binds all these together.

What is Xrpa?

Xrpa is a framework which facilitates connecting disparate software components together at a high level. It is opinionated about the high level software architecture, enabling easy and performant software reuse. The way a developer interacts with Xrpa is through a DSL (domain-specific language). This DSL is then processed statically by the Xrpa Orchestrator, which generates code in a variety of programming languages. This generated code is consumed by software modules to produce Native Programs, or by external host environments such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
