This script will:
- download and verify the latest
Debian "Jessie"
ISO - ... do some magic to turn it into a vagrant box file
- output
debian-jessie-i386.box
ordebian-jessie-amd64.box
- Oracle VM VirtualBox
- Vagrant
mkisofs
for generating a custom Debian CD image7zip
for unpacking the Debian ISO imagemd5sum
ormd5
for Debian ISO image hash check
./build.sh
This should do everything you need. If you don't have mkisofs
or p7zip
, install homebrew, then:
brew install cdrtools
brew install p7zip
To add debian-jessie-amd64.box
with name debian-jessie
into vagrant:
vagrant box add "debian-jessie" debian-jessie-amd64.box
./build.sh

sudo apt-get install genisoimage
sudo apt-get install p7zip-full

You can affect the default behaviour of the script using environment variables:
