Less Common Options (about:addons)

On the about:addons page there are extra options that are not as commonly used.

about addons

The current options are

  • Enable RAS (this can also be selected from the context menu, but an option here is provided in the event the user has chosen to disable the context menu)

  • Show the context menu entry ? ( choose if the RAS context menu is enabled or not )

  • Show Notifications ? ( show or hide the profile change notifications)

Note: if you wish to disable RAS and preserve your settings use the context menu entry or the Enable RAS checkbox mentioned above. Using the default firefox Disable Button will reset your settings, so only do that if you wish to remove the addon afterwards.

The reason we use a custom disable method is so we can keep the context menu entry to quickly reenable it. This allows a user to quickly toggle the setting.
