Tested on:
Docker Image: cuda:11.7.1-devel-ubuntu22.04

  • faiss-cpu, faiss-gpu
  • supports multi-GPU training (useful for pretraining custom models)
  • added conda environment file
  • added example bash scripts for single-gpu & multi-gpu pre-training

TODO:

  • compare faiss-cpu vs faiss-gpu for optimum GPU utilization
  • add example bash scripts for single-gpu & multi-gpu fine-tuning
