v3 allowed uploaded artifacts to have the same name and it would automatically merge them into the same artifact. With v4 this is no longer possible, so each uploaded artifact now has its own unique name and the download-artifact action will download them all using a glob pattern |

We were using v4 for download-artifacts and v3 for upload-artifacts
