+ results_buffer_size conn param, - session var (#18765)
Summary of changes: - Remove `results_buffer_size` as a session variable (it cannot be `SET`) from the session variables page, from a mention in the Read Committed docs, and another in an include about server-side retries - Add `results_buffer_size` as a connection string parameter (at top-level or in `options` param) and point most previous mentions of the session variable at the conn param - NB. These changes were made to v23.1, v23.2, v24.1, v24.2 Fixes: - DOC-10309 - DOC-6494 See also: - cockroachdb/cockroach#124360 - cockroachdb/cockroach#124437

When a transaction returns a result set over 16KB, even if that transaction has been sent as a single batch, CockroachDB cannot automatically retry the transaction. You can change the results buffer size for all new sessions using the `sql.defaults.results_buffer.size` [cluster setting](cluster-settings.html), or for a specific session using the `results_buffer_size` [session variable](set-vars.html). | ||
