An easy to use discrete 4 bit DAC

Andromeda is an easy to use, discrete, four bit DAC. It has been designed for higher voltages in mind, utilizing a 741 op amp you can attain ~+/-23 volts. It also contains an on board potentiometer for input offset voltage adjustments.

What you will need

• External plus and minus power supply
• Four switches or a MCU for input @ 5V

Uses

• Digitally adjustable breadboard power supply
• Fine tuned millivolt or microvolt supply
• The board itself can also be used as a summing amplifier if input resistors are adjusted.
