SystemR

To ensure a seamless experience with SnapKey, particularly when using complex key combinations, please make sure your keyboard meets the following specifications:

1. Hardware Requirements:

  • Keyboard Type: Mechanical or membrane keyboard.
  • Anti-Ghosting Technology: Keyboard must feature anti-ghosting technology to prevent missed key presses during simultaneous key combinations.
  • N-Key Rollover (NKRO): Keyboard should support N-Key Rollover (NKRO) or at least 6-key rollover to ensure all simultaneous key presses are accurately registered.

2. Recommended Specifications:

  • Anti-Ghosting Technology: The keyboard must be equipped with anti-ghosting to handle multiple simultaneous key presses without dropping any keys.
  • Key Roll Over Support: A minimum of 6-key rollover is recommended; however, full NKRO is preferred for the best performance.

3. Additional Notes:

  • Compatibility: Most modern keyboards designed for gaming or professional use support anti-ghosting and NKRO. Verify that your keyboard model meets these specifications.
  • Testing: If you experience issues with key registration, test with a keyboard known to support anti-ghosting and NKRO to determine if the problem is related to your hardware.
