The new FMI Gateway FMU can be used to connect between DSE simulations and legacy FMI based simulations. Models in either simulation may exchange signals (i.e. FMI Variables) via the Gateway FMU. Both scalar and binary signals are supported, as well as streaming data protocols (including OSI and Automotive Bus Schema for Virtual Network/Bus).
