Program for the computation of the inclusive production cross section of a Higgs boson via the fusion of two massless bottom quarks. Please cite [arXiv:1904.09990](https://arxiv.org/abs/1904.09990). # REQUIREMENTS * [LHAPDF](https://lhapdf.hepforge.org/) with version at least `6.1` * [CUBA](http://www.feynarts.de/cuba/) with version at least `4.2` # Cuba can be compiled together with the source if in the makefile "#WITH_CUBA=true" is replaced with "WITH_CUBA=true" # INSTALLATION Prior to installation adjust the following paths in the Makefile ``` LHAPDF_HEADER_DIR=/path/to/your/LHAPDF/header LHAPDF_LIBRARY_DIR=/path/to/your/LHAPDF/library CUBA_HEADER_DIR=/path/to/your/Cuba/header (if your own version is used, otherwise ignore) CUBA_LIBRARY_DIR=/path/to/your/Cuba/library (if your own version is used, otherwise ignore) ``` Including the library paths in your - (Mac) `DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH` - (Linux) `LD_LIBRARY_PATH` may solve runtime issues. For example on a Mac run ```export DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=$DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH:/path/to/your/LHAPDF/library:/path/to/your/Cuba/library``` The environment variable "LHAPDF_DATA_PATH" should be set to the directory, where you keep the LHAPDF grids. ```export LHAPDF_DATA_PATH=/path/to/your/grids``` To build the executable run: `make` in the repository root directory. This creates the program `main`. # USAGE: ``` ./main (inputfile) Specifying an inputfile is optional. In the input file you can specify various parameters. Example Input File: mH=125.09 # Higgs boson mass in GeV - default is 125.09 ECM=13000 # Center of mass energy in GeV - default is 13000 muF=31.2725 # Factorisation Scale in GeV - default is 31.2725 muR=125.09 # Renormalisation Scale in GeV - default is 125.09 mb=4.18 # Bottom Quark Mass in GeV - default is 4.18 mZ=91.1876 # Z boson mass in GeV - default is 91.1876 PDFSet=PDF4LHC15_nnlo_mc # PDF Set - default is PDF4LHC15_nnlo_mc PDFMember=0 # PDF member - default is 0 MCPrecision=0.001 # Relative integration target precision - default is 0.001 outputfile=output.txt # File to store the output - default is output.txt. FONNLL=0 # Compute FONNLL counterterm? (default is 0: regular 5 flavour cross section; 1: overlap of 4 and 5 flavour cross section) Mb_OS=4.58 # On-Shell Mass of the bottom quark in GeV, required for FONNLL counter term only, default is 4.58 ``` Afte the program run completes sucessfully the output file will contain the cross section numbers.
