  • The Physical Description value for an item (displayed in the Format facet) is now taken from the displayMetadata datastream rather than MODS metadata. This resolves behavior where importing a catalog record might overwrite the real physical type of the item—for example, if a catalog record includes both audio and video materials derived from the same performance.
