Or, you can manually install if you don't want automatic updates/want to use an older version of the extension. To do this,

  • Go to the extensions page in Chromium at chrome://extensions
  • Enable "Developer Mode"
  • Drag and drop animebook_anki_export.crx onto the page

OR, for Google Chrome specifically which disallows crx (unlike other chromium browsers), you'll need to

  • Download the source code zip and unzip it
  • Click the "Load unpacked" button on the Chrome extensions page
  • Navigate and select the "extension" folder from the source files you just downloaded
