Hi! 🚀

Welcome to my game Another platformer.

you can find all the relevant info in the project README.

Live version

Objectives

I initially planned a schedule to finish the project on the 5 day submission goal, however I wasn't able to accomplish that (more about that below).

I took the first two days to plan the mechanics and aesthetics of the game, then started from a basic boilerplate with a basic config of the project, then decided to learn phaser at the same time as I developed the game, in the end I became really familiar with the engine.

As I developed the game I encountered unexpected challenges & experiences that made me rethink some aspects of the game, I wanted to make the game fun and challenging.

I also decided to do all the pixelarts by myself and with the help of a friend Jerome of Astora or Jeromimo, I'm aware that this wasn't needed at all, but I wanted to do this experience as unique as possible, I also plan on keep updating the game beyond the microverse requirements.

Time of submission

I'm aware that there was a 5 day submission limit, I wasn't able to accomplish this goal for personal reasons that didn't allow me to commit full time to microverse, I also included more features than necessary and spent a lot of time working on the art of the game.
