Email sending configuration
This is new optional feature, which provide automatic email sending with generated protocol to user or/and defined group. So you can:
- Generate PDF and automatically send email to user or/and defined group with protocol,
- Send protocol manually to defined group,
- Send protocol manually to any recipients.
Protocols Manager use GLPI notification emails configuration to send messages. If you do not have configured email notifications yet, go to Setup -> Notifications and enable notification followup and _notification followup via emai_l. Then click on email followups configuration. Now you can set your email server settings. If test email works, that's it.
Go to Setup->Plugins->Protocols Manager. Then go to Email Configuration tab. Now you can define subject, content and recipients. Save your config. Now you can select your email template from template settings if you want to send emails automatically.
Go to user and protocols manager tab. Click on 'send email' button. In opened window you can send email with template settings or set the subject, content and recipients manually.
