After a lot of trial and error to figure out why the Ubuntu parallel tests were failing, I discovered that it may be related to a known issue with mpich 4.2.0 and Ubuntu 24.04. It took a couple of days for me to track down, but I found the info that GitHub actions have bumped ubuntu-latest to ubuntu-24.04 and away from ubuntu 22.04. I've made the change in our workflow files to correct this, and things appear fingers crossed to be working. |
