Coding for Reproducible Programming initiative is a University of Exeter scheme to offer a recurring annual series of workshops open to all staff and students, with opportunities for novices through to more experienced users, to expand their skillsets and position them to confidently perform the informatics research projects in an efficient and reproducible way. We offer a programme of hybrid workshops run from Oct-July of each academic year, open to any staff or student, from any college or department and accessible from any campus. These will cover a broad range of programming languages, that we have capacity and expertise in to teach, including Python, R, Matlab, Unix/Linux. In addition, we will offer workshops relating to best practise and efficient working methods, that are largely agnostic of programming language, but are essential to ensure that the programming skills we teach can be applied in a reproducible and robust manner. In this way we can offer a holistic and comprehensive training programme to our staff and students.

This repository is a template is for use of workshops that are part of the University of Exeter Coding for Reproducible Programming initiative. It is aimed at the large team of contributors who are helping develop and maintain workshop materials. This wiki contains information on how to use the template as well as guidance for developing workshops.
