There are three ways to contribute to the documentation:
- Open an issue with the text of the proposed change or addition alongside with any images/screenshots that you would like included. Tag the issue "needs review" and a member of the Documentation team will review the issue and create a pull request.
- Create a pull request directly against the main branch and mark it as "needs review." A member of the Documentation Team will review the pull request and wither merge or ask for followups.
- Become a member of the Documentation team. Team members have access to edit files directly and to review issues and pull requests. If you would like to be a member of the documentation team contact the Project Director.
- Docker
docker pull squidfunk/mkdocs-material
pulls the docker container you need to serve locally and build.
docker run --rm -it -p 8000:8000 -v ${PWD}:/docs squidfunk/mkdocs-material
runs the local server and will watch for changes.
Auto deploy through Github Actions on a push to the main branch.
