The goal of this PR is to make the formatting options of
format()
andunsafeFormat()
extend from the nativeIntl.NumberFormat
options and spread them so the consumer can use any of the native options, especially the ones that have been added in the spec recently (such asnotation
andcompactDisplay
), without requiring the library to be updated.But I'm actually not sure this could work 🤔
I don't know if the
Intl.NumberFormat
type is bundled in with the library and in which version (for ex.es5
doesn't have the same type thanes2020
).Anyway, there is an issue with tests and I can't figure it out. It seems we pre-build the calls to
Intl.NumberFormat
and this somehow makes this fail now. Any help would be much appreciated 🙏🏻
