These are questions that aren't specific to GLC, but have some bearing on it.

Q: How do I migrate libraries after reinstalling Windows?

A: See below for some examples.

Note if you use these techniques (vs. reinstalling the games from scratch), scanning for your games may take longer and the wrong icons might be displayed (e.g., Steam, Amazon).

Steam:

Add your Steam library folder (Steam > Settings > Downloads > STEAM LIBRARY FOLDERS).
If necessary, use a tool like grepWin to do a search & replace of the install locations in your steamapps\appmanifest_*.acf files.

Epic:

Transfer the .item files in "C:\ProgramData\Epic\EpicGamesLauncher\Data\Manifests" from your old Windows install (and search & replace if necessary).

Amazon:

Transfer the folder %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Amazon Games\Data\Games from your old Windows install.
If necessary, use a tool like DB Browser for SQLite to change the install locations in Sql\GameInstallInfo.sqlite.

Itch:

Transfer the file %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\itch\db\butler.db from your old Windows install (and edit in a SQLite browser if necessary)

Indiegala:

Transfer the file %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\IGClient\storage\installed.json from your old Windows install (and edit if necessary).
