Hey there! I found that instead of overwriting, `overrides` rather clears the highlight groups. This should address this issue.
Hello again! I found that WhichKeyFloat doesn't have any effect on the wk background. I guess later versions switched to NormalFloat. Thanks for porting the theme btw! :)
