Walkthrough

The changes involve a modification to the Event component located in src/Components/Pages/Event.jsx. The primary focus of the update is the alteration of the class name for a div element that displays calendar days. The class name has been changed to adjust the padding for different screen sizes, specifically setting the default padding to zero while maintaining padding for small screens and above.

Changes

File Change Summary
src/Components/Pages/Event.jsx Modified class name for calendar day divs to adjust padding: changed from p-2 to p-0 for default sizes and sm:p-2 for small screens.

The padding shifts, a lovely sight.

Changes made, oh, isn't it great!" 🐇

Line range hint 79-85: Suggestion: Improve calendar accessibility

While the current implementation effectively solves the text overflow issue, we can further enhance the calendar's accessibility. Consider adding appropriate ARIA attributes to improve the experience for users with screen readers.

Here's a suggestion to improve accessibility:

 {dates.map((day) => (
   <div
     key={day}
-    className={`sm:p-2 p-0 border rounded-md ${day === currentDate ? 'bg-blue-500 text-white' : 'bg-gray-100'}`}
+    className={`sm:p-2 p-0 border rounded-md ${day === currentDate ? 'bg-blue-500 text-white' : 'bg-gray-100'}`}
+    role="gridcell"
+    aria-label={`${months[currentMonth]} ${day}, ${currentYear}`}
+    aria-current={day === currentDate ? "date" : undefined}
   >
     {day}
   </div>
 ))}

This change:

  1. Adds role="gridcell" to indicate that each day is a cell within the calendar grid.
  2. Includes an aria-label with the full date for better context.
  3. Uses aria-current="date" to indicate the current date to screen readers.

81-81: Effective solution for calendar text overflow

This change successfully addresses the reported issue of text overflow in the calendar section. By using responsive padding with Tailwind CSS classes, the solution:

  1. Removes padding (p-0) on smaller screens to prevent text overflow.
  2. Maintains padding (sm:p-2) on larger screens for better aesthetics.

This approach is minimal, focused, and follows responsive design best practices.
