Here is short tutorial how to satisfy Requirements for PhileCMS installation guide on CentOS 7.
# run all commands with root privileges or with sudo
$ su -
# install basic apache+php server
yum install httpd php
# enables apache by default and start it
systemctl start httpd
systemctl enable httpd
# allow it in filewall
firewall-cmd --permanent --add-service=http
firewall-cmd --permanent --add-service=https
systemctl restart firewalld
To enable mod_rewrite
module, you should add AllowOverride All
in the <Directory>
section in apache's virtual host config file.
If you don't create extra config file and use just default /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
, follow next steps:
- open default apache config file (vim /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf)
- find section for
<Directory "/var/www/html">
. It looks like
# Further relax access to the default document root:
<Directory "/var/www/html">
...
#
# AllowOverride controls what directives may be placed in .htaccess files.
# It can be "All", "None", or any combination of the keywords:
# Options FileInfo AuthConfig Limit
#
AllowOverride None
...
</Directory>
- replace
AllowOverride None
withAllowOverride All
. systemctl restart httpd
