1. Installation

If you're coming from previous UnSignedVelocity versions (1.4.3 or earlier)

1. Remove the old version of UnSignedVelocity and its config folder located in the plugins folder of your Velocity instance.

2. Download the latest UnSignedVelocity version from Modrinth

3. (If you already have installed PacketEvents 2.4.0 or newer, you can skip this step) Download the latest PacketEvents version from Modrinth, GitHub, or SpigotMC.

4. Place the downloaded UnSignedVelocity (and PacketEvents if you hadn't installed it before) jar file in the plugins folder of your Velocity instance.

5. Set the force-key-authentication option to false in the Velocity configuration and restart your Velocity instance.

6. Set the enforce-secure-profile option to false in the server.properties file of any server behind the proxy with a Minecraft version equal to or higher than 1.19 and restart it if necessary.

If you're installing UnSignedVelocity for the first time
