Tweaks

Note that some of theres features were moved to the Amendments mod. Refer to the Amendments section on this wiki to see the full list of features. They will also remain here as they are relevant for older versions

Wall Lanterns

  • Vanilla and modded lanterns can now be placed on walls!
  • Wall lanterns are animated and will swing if they are hit by an entity
  • Animation and fancy renderer can be disabled and replaced with a static block model in the config. This could give a very slight fps boost (this option is also always on when looking at them at a certain distance)

Custom Map Markers

  • You can now place some new markers on maps. To do so just click with a map on one of the required blocks.
  • The supported blocks are: Beacon, Beds, Sign Posts, Nether Portal, Bell, Campfires, Conduit, Lodestone, Respawn Anchors, End Portal and Flags
  • Some of these blocks will show the block name if they hold text or are renamed, just like vanilla banners
  • Additionally all structures of note rom base game and a few oter mods will have custom map markers. These are only obtainable through the map loot function or ingame via the Adventurer or Custom Maps Villager trades feature.

Colored maps

Maps will now show biome and block colours for all blocks tagged as "supplementaries:tinted_on_maps"

Mob Head Tweaks

  • Candles can be placed ontop of mob heads
  • Mob heads can be stacked ontop of eachother
  • Changed the default skull sound to be the same as the bone block one
  • Wearing a mob head will give you the spectator effect that you usually get when spectating them
  • Extra ones have been added aswell such as for enderman head, skeleton, dragon and piglin

Adventurer Maps

  • Cartographers can now sell Adventurer Maps on their second trade
  • Adventurer maps are just like mansion maps but can lead to many different vanilla structures. The catch is that you won't know which one until you open the map
  • Adventurer maps make use of the new map icon system and have a custom icon for each structure
  • The list of possible structures they can lead to are: Jungle Temples, Desert Pyramids, Villages, Shipwrecks, Mineshafts, Ruined Portals, Witch Huts, Igloo, Pillager Outposts, Ocean Ruin, End Cities and Bastions
  • Additionally one can easily add new custom maps that can lead to any structure of their choosing via the provided configs

Placeable Gunpowder

  • Gunpowder trails can be placed on the ground
  • They can be lit up via fire arrows, fire charges, fire, lava, magma blocks and other fire sources
  • Once lit up the trail will quickly start to consume itself and it will propagate to the next one
  • Lit trails can ignite tnt, set flammable blocks on fire or light up blocks that can be lit up, like campfires or candles alike

Zombie Horse Conversion

  • Feeding a stack of rotten flesh to a owned skeleton horse will slowly convert it into a zombie horse
  • Additionally zombie horses can breath underwater just like skeleton ones

Placeable Books

  • Enchanted and normal books can be placed and thus have a block form
  • By default normal books can be piled horizontally and will have a random color assigned to them
  • Enchanted Books will be piled up vertically
  • Placed books can give enchanting power to enchanting tables. The power given depends on the number and type of books used
  • This supports colored books from Inspirations mod and Tomes from Quark mod
  • By enabling mixed books in the config one can mix and match any book with each other and, for example, place enchanted books sideways
  • Placeable book and quill can also be enabled in the configs but will require shift clicking to place
  • Enchanted books can display with their enchant glint. This also can be enabled in the configs. This features also has support for Enchanted Books Redesign mod

Ceiling Banners

  • Banners can be placed on the bottom of a block
  • They can also be attached directly to horizontally placed ropes

Quiver Skeletons

  • Skeletons can now rarely spawn equipped with quiver.
  • This depends on difficulty similar to enchanted armor on them so you will not see them on easy or peaceful and only after a while on normal
  • Skeletons with quivers are able to shoot a variety of random tipped arrows. This also applies to strays which will still also apply slowness ontop.
  • When killed they have a high chance to drop their quiver complete with its content. This is one of 2 ways to obtain a quiver

Bell Chain Ringing

  • One can now interact with a set of chains or ropes attached to the bottom of a bell. Doing so will ring the bell itself
  • Bells will also visually connect to those chains and ropes. Currently Doesn't work with Flywheel installed

Enderman head

  • Will open it's mouth and emit a redstone signal when being stared at
  • Signal strength depends on how long you look at it
  • Drops like other heads
  • Can't be stacked or have candles on it

Throwable Bricks

  • Introducing vandalism in Minecraft! Throw bricks at your foes
  • Thrown bricks can break glass blocks in a random pattern

Throwable Slimeballs

  • Can bounce off anything
  • When they hit something they will make the entity have a slimed overlay
  • Slimed overlay halves jump height (can be turned off)
  • Using soap or swimmig will clear the slimed overlay
  • Slimes themselves can also inflict this effect when hitting an entity directly

XP Bottling

  • By shift clicking on an enchanting table with a bottle or jar you will be able to bottle some of your experience inside it at the cost of some health

Placeable Sticks and Rods

  • Sticks can be placed on the ground, up to 3 in the same block
  • Blaze Rods can also be placed down with similar properties
  • Blaze rods will damage entities standing on them, setting them on fire. When submerged in water they will emit bubbles

Raked Gravel

  • Use a hoe on a block of gravel to rake it in the direction you are facing
  • Unlike farmland it can be tilled in all directions and can curve too

Exploration Map Quills

  • This feature is only on with Quark
  • Replaces exploration maps with Maps and Quill.
  • In vanilla when you open a chest the game hangs up and can lag quite a bit while it tries to find a structure target.
  • Here instead this happens only when the quill is used and can happen offthread with no lag
  • Note that this feature has the side effect that quills get placed in chest regardless if a structure exist nearly or not, as opposed to what happens on vanilla where after a big lag spik you would not find any map in the chest
  • Instead youll get a quill which, if it fails, can still be used further away to try finding something again
