Welcome to the DM-GY6063A-Creative-Coding wiki! Some setup items before we begin the class.

1. Create a free Github account: https://github.com/join
2. Go to our class GitHub Repository: https://github.com/IDMNYU/DM-GY6063A-Creative-Coding/
3. Follow the getting started with git and github guide here
4. Create your creative coding repository on Github.com. It should be titled: [yourname]-CCS16
5. Create a Tumblr blog for Creative Coding. It doesn't matter what the blog is titled, however it's only use should be for Creative Coding Class.

Other item's you'll eventually need in this class:

• A standard text editor. I prefer Sublime Text, but any other text editor will do!
• ffmpeg (Mac users only) installation link. (Windows users only) ffmpeg installation instructions.
• imagemagick
• RenderCam chrome extension: For screen grabs and animated outputs Link
