Todos for lesson 2 web page:

  • Delete the Links section unless we have something to actually put there
  • Delete the "Total video time:" if there aren't any videos.
  • Simplify the level 1/level 2 headers so that they work better in the left pane directory.
  • Fix the broken images (animated GIFs?) and replace either with static images or videos that will render correctly.
  • Delete "note to selfs". If necessary to remember to do something, open an issue here.

Ideas for headers:

(level 1) Set up CircuitPython
(level 2) Download CircuitPython
numbered steps.
(level 2) Connect the board
numbered steps.
(level 2) Copy CircuitPython to the board
numbered steps.

(level 1) Install the Mu code editor
numbered steps

(level 1) Download and install library modules
(level 2) Download CircuitPython library bundle
numbered steps
(level 2) Install modules on board

(level 1) Connect a sensor
numbered steps.

Instead of having people open the link to see the diagram with red and blue buttons, just take a picture of the board and draw arrows and label the buttons.

@juarezfd I just did a proofreading run through on the two versions of lesson 039. They are fantastic! I have four minor changes to suggest:

1 and 2. There was a "cant" and an "arent" on the pages that are missing apostrophes ("can't" and "aren't")

3 When you give the link to the scripts, it goes to my GitHub Gists. That was OK before, but now over time there are more recent unrelated Gists that show up. I actually created a permanent GitHub repo for the code for this lesson at https://github.com/HeardLibrary/digital-scholarship/tree/master/code/circuit_python, so it would be better for the link to just go there.

4 On the Mac lesson, the "how to install" video from Windows still is there along with the Mac version.

I think we're basically ready to go!
