System Requirements

- RedHat/CentOS7

- 1 CPU for general system and an additional 0.5 CPU for each switch to be connected to VCE
- 1G of memory for general system / cache and 200MB of memory for each switch connected to VCE
- Disk usage (excluding base OS) 5G of space for the installation / configuration, depending on how long you want to keep the logs, each switch process will create approximately 2MB/day for logs
- Grafana (minimum 256MB ram, 1 cpu)
- Redis (minimum 512MB ram, 1 cpu)
- SIMP (minimum 512MB ram, 1 cpu) for every 10 nodes @ 5m poll interval
- TSDS (minimum 1GB ram, 2 cpu) for every 450 interfaces @ 5m poll interval
- (3KB/day disk per interface) or (1.1MB/year disk per interface) @ 5m poll interval
Additional tools / authentication may require additional resources, please review any additional tools / applications you will install on the VCE server to verify they will fit in these system requirements.
5 switch VCE instance:
- 8 cpu
- 4GB ram
- 6GB disk (installation and logs)
10 switch VCE instance:
- 10 cpu
- 5GB ram
- 6GB disk (installation and logs)
