What are binaural beats?

Binaural beats stimulates your brain by sending special auditory artifacts directly into your headphones to produce subtle changes in behavior though entraiment of brainwaves frequency.

This effect was discovered in 1839 by Heinrich Wilhelm Dove, and earned greater public awareness in the late 20th century based on claims that binaural beats help induce relaxation, meditation, creativity and other desirable mental states. The effect on the brainwaves depends on the difference in frequencies of each tone, for example, if 300 Hz was played in one ear and 310 in the other, then the Binaural beat would have a frequency of 10 Hz.

** How to use this application? **

Follow this steps to get the most benefits from all programs:

  • Usage of headphones is required, binaural beats only works if two slightly different signals are sent to each ear. A quality in-ear headphones work best but any kind of headphones can be used, just make sure they are comfortable and ambient noise if any is blocked out.
  • Make sure you are in an environment that doesn't require your immediate attention, for example in a calm dark room or even in the subway if you're comfortably seated.
  • Try not to focus on anything at first and let your mind wander
  • Looking at the screen can help you reach a desired state of mind faster as all visualisations are custom made to follow and enhance the beats.
