Twilight Forest surface height is way below than the Overworld or other planets usually being at y32-35, causing some ore veins to get cut off, leaving no primary ores due to dirt blocking the ores.
This decreases the max range from 35 to 20, and 40 to 25 for twilight-specific ores such as Thaumcraft shards or Cryolite
