Incoming Tab (Remote Incoming) and Multisite Incoming Tab (Multisite Only)

The Multisite Incoming tab only appears if you are on a multisite and are approved in the Disciple Tools - Multisite plugin. Both of these “Incoming” tabs have identical tables. The table columns consist of the following:

Column Name Description
ID This is the system id of the record that stores all the site configuration.
Site Name This is the name provided by the remote site.
Nickname This is an overriding name you can use in your dashboard for clarity on who this team is. You can either clarify the identity of the site or obscure the identity of the site (use an alias) depending on the audience your dashboard has and the security it requires.
Domain This is the url of the reporting site.
Show in Metrics You can either show or hide the sites reporting. By default, the site is set to show. One use case, in which you might hide a site's data, is if you are running a training or development or demo site in your network and you know the data in this site is inaccurate, so you want to remove it from the totals. Or if you are running a large number of sites on a multisite server, but a handful of those are inactive sites. You can keep them reporting but hide their inactivity from the dashboard to help with clarity.
Receive Live Activity You can allow or reject movement activity log data. This allows you to control what sites are adding to your activity log. There might be conditions in which you want the snapshot totals of a site's status, but not want to collect and display the movement activity log of that site.
Profile Use this button to update configuration changes you have made.

Once changes are made and saved, the network map below should update and reflect the incoming and outgoing reality of your network node.
