Updates sentry-sdk from 1.38.0 to 2.5.1

Release notes

Sourced from sentry-sdk's releases.

2.5.1

This change fixes a regression in our cron monitoring feature, which caused cron checkins not to be sent. The regression appears to have been introduced in version 2.4.0.

We recommend that all users, who use Cron monitoring and are currently running sentry-python ≥2.4.0, upgrade to this release as soon as possible!

Other fixes & improvements

2.5.0

Various fixes & improvements

  • Allow to configure status codes to report to Sentry in Starlette and FastAPI (#3008) by @sentrivana

    By passing a new option to the FastAPI and Starlette integrations, you're now able to configure what status codes should be sent as events to Sentry. Here's how it works:

    from sentry_sdk.integrations.starlette import StarletteIntegration
    from sentry_sdk.integrations.fastapi import FastApiIntegration
    sentry_sdk.init(
    # ...
    integrations=[
    StarletteIntegration(
    failed_request_status_codes=[403, range(500, 599)],
    ),
    FastApiIntegration(
    failed_request_status_codes=[403, range(500, 599)],
    ),
    ]
    )

    failed_request_status_codes expects a list of integers or containers (objects that allow membership checks via in) of integers. Examples of valid failed_request_status_codes:

    • [500] will only send events on HTTP 500.
    • [400, range(500, 599)] will send events on HTTP 400 as well as the 500-599 range.
    • [500, 503] will send events on HTTP 500 and 503.

    The default is [range(500, 599)].

    See the FastAPI and Starlette integration docs for more details.

  • Support multiple keys with cache_prefixes (#3136) by @sentrivana

  • Support integer Redis keys (#3132) by @sentrivana

  • Update SDK version in CONTRIBUTING.md (#3129) by @sentrivana

Updates requests from 2.31.0 to 2.32.3

Release notes

Sourced from requests's releases.

v2.32.3

2.32.3 (2024-05-29)

Bugfixes

  • Fixed bug breaking the ability to specify custom SSLContexts in sub-classes of HTTPAdapter. (#6716)
  • Fixed issue where Requests started failing to run on Python versions compiled without the ssl module. (#6724)

v2.32.2

2.32.2 (2024-05-21)

Deprecations

  • To provide a more stable migration for custom HTTPAdapters impacted by the CVE changes in 2.32.0, we've renamed _get_connection to a new public API, get_connection_with_tls_context. Existing custom HTTPAdapters will need to migrate their code to use this new API. get_connection is considered deprecated in all versions of Requests>=2.32.0.

    A minimal (2-line) example has been provided in the linked PR to ease migration, but we strongly urge users to evaluate if their custom adapter is subject to the same issue described in CVE-2024-35195. (#6710)

v2.32.1

2.32.1 (2024-05-20)

Bugfixes

  • Add missing test certs to the sdist distributed on PyPI.

v2.32.0

2.32.0 (2024-05-20)

🐍 PYCON US 2024 EDITION 🐍

Security

  • Fixed an issue where setting verify=False on the first request from a Session will cause subsequent requests to the same origin to also ignore cert verification, regardless of the value of verify. (GHSA-9wx4-h78v-vm56)

Improvements

  • verify=True now reuses a global SSLContext which should improve request time variance between first and subsequent requests. It should also minimize certificate load time on Windows systems when using a Python version built with OpenSSL 3.x. (#6667)
  • Requests now supports optional use of character detection (chardet or charset_normalizer) when repackaged or vendored.

Changelog

Sourced from django-debug-toolbar's changelog.

4.4.2 (2024-05-27)

  • Removed some CSS which wasn't carefully limited to the toolbar's elements.
  • Stopped assuming that INTERNAL_IPS is a list.
  • Added a section to the installation docs about running tests in projects where the toolbar is being used.

4.4.1 (2024-05-26)

  • Pin metadata version to 2.2 to be compatible with Jazzband release process.

4.4.0 (2024-05-26)

  • Raised the minimum Django version to 4.2.
  • Automatically support Docker rather than having the developer write a workaround for INTERNAL_IPS.
  • Display a better error message when the toolbar's requests return invalid json.
  • Render forms with as_div to silence Django 5.0 deprecation warnings.
  • Stayed on top of pre-commit hook updates.
  • Added :doc:architecture documentation <architecture> to help on-board new contributors.
  • Removed the static file path validation check in :class:StaticFilesPanel <debug_toolbar.panels.staticfiles.StaticFilesPanel> since that check is made redundant by a similar check in Django 4.0 and later.
  • Deprecated the OBSERVE_REQUEST_CALLBACK setting and added check debug_toolbar.W008 to warn when it is present in DEBUG_TOOLBAR_SETTINGS.
  • Add a note on the profiling panel about using Python 3.12 and later about needing --nothreading
  • Added IS_RUNNING_TESTS setting to allow overriding the debug_toolbar.E001 check to avoid including the toolbar when running tests.
  • Fixed the bug causing 'djdt' is not a registered namespace and updated docs to help in initial configuration while running tests.
  • Added a link in the installation docs to a more complete installation example in the example app.
  • Added check to prevent the toolbar from being installed when tests are running.
  • Added test to example app and command to run the example app's tests.
  • Implemented dark mode theme and button to toggle the theme, introduced the DEFAULT_THEME setting which sets the default theme to use.

Updates python-memcached from 1.59 to 1.62

Release notes

Sourced from python-memcached's releases.

1.62 delete() returns 0 for NOT_FOUND or server error (consistent with docstring)

delete() return value now is 1 for "DELETED" and 0 for "NOT_FOUND" or server error. (Nick Pope PR #190) This is consistent with the docstring.

1.61 Fixing date in Changelog

This is a documentation-only fix, fixing the date in the Changelog in the 1.60 release. See that release for the full set of changes.

1.60: Many bug-fixes (2023)

  • Allow to use a datetime.timedelta parameter for Client.set (PR from Theo Massard)
  • Fix cmemcahe_hash 0 values being translated to 1 (PR from Chow Loong Jin)
  • Fix tuple key support in multi methods (PR from Sergii Mikhtoniuk) #154
  • Add support for default value in get (PR from Jakub Szafrański)
  • test_memcache.py: try import unittest.mock (PR from Tim Orling)
  • Use == as suggested by Python 3.8 (PR from @za)
  • Decoding in slab funcs, replacing "1" with "True" in while. #175
  • Tell PyPI to parse README as markdown (PR from @MartinThoma) #168
  • test_memcache.py: try import unittest.mock (PR from @moto-timo) #172
  • Removed Python 2.7 from setup.cfg, adding 3.8-3.12
  • Add support for default value in get() (PR from @samupl) #158
  • Fix tuple key support in multi methods (regression in 1.55). (PR from @sergiimk) #155
  • Fix cmemcahe_hash 0 values being translated to 1. For example "ob" would hash to 0 and then get converted to 1. Looks like this dated back to 2009, the original code we imported for that hash function. (PR from @hyperair) #152
  • Removing six.PY2/3 conditionals
  • Removing "time" from delete and making expiry mandatory in touch. (port of @erankor's PR in #30 )
  • Added quit() method. This method sends the 'quit' command to the servers and then closes the connections, reducing the number of TIME_WAIT sockets hanging around the OS. (PR from @userrl) #15
  • Allow to use a datetime.timedelta parameter for Client.set (PR from @tbobm) #146
  • Allow keys to be encoded before use. (Port of PR in #52 from @harlowja)
  • Removing historic python 2to3 code and deprecated socket.error (for OSError). (PR from @pgajdos) Description has been truncated
