Roadmap
Confess is a web-based social platform that provides university students a place to share confessions, memes and emotions in an anonymous manner.
The workflow is straight-forward. Landing page introduces new users the website features and allow users to explore the platform by clicking into the university.
Users can explore the website as a visitor by clicking one of the universities listed on the landing page.
Users can choose to sign in first via an email link, and it will take the user back to the confess main page.
Users can view any posts from any community by selecting a university on the list. A user can view posts and sort posts based on time, popularity, and controversy.
User can share the posts by clicking the share icon on the post. Either a link will be copied or users can select to share via email, messengers etc.
To comment and react to post, the user must sign in with an email address.
Users can see all posts under different channels; channels vary based on the community you select. Users can filter posts by choosing a channel and view all the posts under that channel(topic).
Users can view the post full text by clicking "see more" on the post. Alternatively, the user can click the post itself and enter the post detail post. It contains the post with full-text expansion, comment section. Users can comment, like the post, like the comment, reply to the comment. Additionally, the original poster can mark a certain amount of comments as useful comments, that comment will be listed on the top and with visible UI design to highlight that comment, and therefore the commentator will be rewarded a star. The comment can be sorted based on user selection, as well.
Users can write posts and optionally add image to the post. Users are allowed to post a confession under the community they registered. For instance, a UoA student can not post to AUT's community. Users must select a channel(topic) before submitting the confession. Confession will be posted immediately after the submission. The poster must read and follow the submission rules before submitting.
If the original poster log in, they will be able to see an indicator that they made the post on the post they wrote.
Users can log out to the website and to log in again, users can enter university email address, go to the mailbox and follow the confess link.
