Battle of Awdriz

The wheels where squeaking as the vehicle approached home town. It was not a car, neither a tank. More it resembled something that could easily be mistaken for a rolling warehouse. Until one saw the guns. This one was clearly a war machine, with its outside covered with guns, rocket launchers and shield bashers. Just as clearly as one could see this one was a war machine, one could see it recently been to war. Some tires where flat, not from spikes or bullets, but from going through a patch of acid. The smell of smoke and acid filled the docking room as the big vehicle entered. -"Just close the gates already" the dark voice came from the radio. -"Just a couple of seconds more captain. How much damages this time?" -"Close call this time. They took down one of the shields so in the back we got ten victims, dead or alive i dont know but not responding. Atmosphere damages. In the front we are okay. " -"I will send in the medic team right away."

With that said one could see the medic team standing next to the big machine, dressed all in yellow with big protective suits. Acid and poisonous atmosphere was no child play.

As the big doors closed, the ventilation started and a couple of seconds later the room was full of oxygen. Out from the captain pit a long dark man came out. - "God dammit, not a second to late. Fresh air!"

There was a crew waiting for the captain to get down the big ramp leading down to the floor, and later down to the underworld. -"Did you make it? What are the news? Anyone alive in Awdriz?" The big captain stopped in front of the people, half a meter taller then the tallest man in the group. -"People are alive and fighting well, but we did not reach them. We where attacked by bandits, they have gained control over the awesomium fields outside the city, closed down the plant and are now mining themselves. Their watch outs are many and strong. We need to be more people next time my sirs. "
