Run a local web GUI for Grunt tasks
This plugin requires Grunt ~0.4.0
If you haven't used Grunt before, be sure to check out the Getting Started guide, as it explains how to create a Gruntfile as well as install and use Grunt plugins. Once you're familiar with that process, you may install this plugin with this command:
npm install grunt-peon-gui --save-dev
Once the plugin has been installed, it may be enabled inside your Gruntfile with this line of JavaScript:
grunt.loadNpmTasks('grunt-peon-gui');
Run this task with the grunt gui
command.
You can install the GUI in a dedicated directory and run another gruntfile using three ways:
-
Pass the command line argument
--guigruntfile=/path/to/file/Gruntfile.js
-
Pass the command line argument
--guigruntfolder=/path/to/file/
- searches for Gruntfile.js / Gruntfile.coffee -
Add configuration to the gruntfile:
gui: options: gruntfile: '/path/to/file/Gruntfile.js'
