Using the Issue Tracker

Issue tracker issues should be reported as follows:

  • The issue should initially be assigned to Jamie Bullock
  • No milestone should be assigned

Bugs

If the issue is a bug then:

  • The issue title should give a summary of the bug e.g. "Cannot load saved files"
  • The "bug" label should be selected along with any of the grey-coloured labels
  • No priority should be given
  • The issue text should be formatted as follows:

Steps to reproduce:

  • description of step 1
  • description of step 2
  • etc...

Expected behaviour:

  • description of expected behaviour

Actual behaviour:

  • description of actual behaviour

Enhancements

If the issue is an enhancement (aka feature request) try to describe the enhancement in as much detail as possible.

  • The "enhancement" label should be selected
  • It is helpful to express enhancements as user stories:
