I tried many strategies to test the rendering of the layout in the Beacon site using the rpc mechanisms available in the cluster code but in the end I am just testing the
coerce_resource_link_paramsfunction since that is where the pruning of the params occurs. I trust that Beacon will render the links in the<head>correctly. This should close #64.
