Auto-rotate layout if screen orientation changes

Auto-tiling is useful on touch screen devices, but certain layouts work best in a certain orientation relative to the screen orientation. While using device handheld with auto-rotate, there is no easy way to rotate the layout as you don't have a keyboard handy.

Describe the solution you'd like
Automatically rotate layout as monitor orientation changes including with accelerometer auto-rotate.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Better touch screen controls to manually adjust layout settings. Personally I'd prefer to just leave it on B-tree while in tablet mode and have autorotate affect layout rotation.
