Installation

  1. Upload the easy-key-values folder to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory or install it directly through the WordPress admin panel.
  2. Activate the plugin via the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
  3. Navigate to the 'Easy Key-Values' menu item in the admin area to start adding your key-value pairs.

Advanced Configuration

  • EKVALUES_ENABLE_CACHE: Define this constant in your wp-config.php to enable or disable caching for key-value retrievals. Useful for improving performance on high-traffic sites.
  • EKVALUES_CACHE_DURATION: Customize the caching duration (in seconds) for key-value pairs by defining this constant. Works in conjunction with EKVALUES_ENABLE_CACHE.
  • EKVALUES_MENU_LOCATION: Specify the admin menu location. Set this to "settings_menu" to place the menu under the ' Settings' section.
