this app needs the following 3rd-party libs installed to walk around a Tethys bug (ver 1.3.3) that may cover this real issue by showing another app's content (see: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/tethysplatform/V0QivsY79uw):

hs_restclient
osgeo.gdal (looks like gdal does not support simply "pip install *" style installation, need to find a way notify frontend or log error on backend when it is not installed properly )
terraformer.min (better to get a copy of these js files and serve them locally)
