With this example:
public class VerySimple {

public static int fib(int n) {
    int r = 1;
    if (n > 1)
        r = n * fib(n - 1);
    return r;
}

}

An EmptyStack error is obtained. It seems there is some race condition: if a breakpoint is introduced before the error occurs, it dissapears.
