webpixels 1.2: Sass build breaks since Bootstrap > v5.2.3

I am compiling css from source and get the following error if I am using Bootstrap sources > v5.2.3

SassError: $color2: var(--bs-secondary-color) is not a color.

Which Bootstrap version did you test against?

Hello looks like this wasn't resolved yet. What is the status with this problem/error? Is WebPixels still maintained?

"I don't think there will be a fix, as there is no longer any activity in the source. However, I can send you my workaround. To implement it, you will need to patch the Bootstrap sources:
