Summers are warm and sometimes hot, normally averaging around 25 °C (77 °F) during the day, whilst winter means are around freezing, with daytime temperatures being about 5 °C (41 °F). Between 1981 and 201 Chur had an average of 104.6 days of rain per year and on average received 849 mm (33.4 in) of precipitation.
