Enhancement Description
Add an email field to registration. This can be used for the "Forgot password" feature.

As of now, registration only asks for username, password, first name, and last name.

I don't think these are necessary as we might run into FERPA issues with this kind of data (unless our system is FERPA-compliant — maybe we can look into certifying this?). I think we should only keep data that will be necessary for logging in and using the system and retrieving logins as needed.

Data like gender identity, education level, DOB, that may be useful for research may just be collected separately as part of a research protocol.
