Try the following:

function test_action_positionalarray_valid_name_collision {
	__addarg "" "word" "positionalarray" "required" "" "help text"
	__parseargs "$@"
	echo "${word[@]}"
}

This:

runtest --print test_action_positionalarray_valid_name_collision "word" "word"

will fail :(
