Some apps using Apple's Catalyst framework crashes on 8K+ virtual screens

Hi!!!

A few months back you've helped me with the virtual desktop (thanks for that).

When I use the feature with the 57 Odyssey, certain apps either don't work or are incredibly buggy.

WhatsApp, MacOS Messages and a few other similar ones don't work

IntelliJ becomes incredibly slow, and when the screen locks it crashes the app.

Any recommendations? RAM/CPU usage goes up but not near maxing out.

Hi there - yes, apps using Apple Catalyst framework will crash/freeze with screens larger than 8K width (4K HiDPI). This is a generic issue with that framework.

This is a longstanding problem that should be fixed by Apple.
